Reading

We did some rearranging in the living room and created this little book corner for Kenan. He immediately settled into his chair and started reading. Very cute to watch him as he talks to the book! Right now he doesn't sit still for long but we anticipate he will spend a lot of time in this chair reading.

The only other news from this week was that Kenan fell victim to a bully in his class! He suffered his first bite-- ouch! Thankfully he had on long sleeves and the skin didn't break. Looks like the kid bit him twice.

bumps and bruises

Kenan is adjusting well at daycare but his love for playing ball on the playground is taking it's toll on his head! The first accident led to a fat lip and a slightly chipped tooth. The more recent one (barely visible in this picture) resulted in a scraped face and a bump on his forehead! He's pretty cautious so I can't imagine how banged up he would be if he was a wild man!

North Haven Fair

Kenan and I visited the North Haven fair on Friday. Kenan had a blast in the petting zoo. He loved the sheep, goats, chicks and pigs. He was able to pet the elephant but he wasn't sure what to make of it.
